Quotes, Prices and Paying
How do your quotes work?
We look the job over, then give you one fixed price before we start work. Nothing's estimated on the phone and firmed up later. The price we quote is the price you pay. No exceptions, no surprise add-ons once we're on site.
Do prices change once the job starts?
No. Once you approve the price, that figure is locked in. If we uncover something extra along the way, we stop and talk you through it first, then requote before touching it, never after.
How can I pay?
Card or bank transfer both work, whichever's easier for you. You've already approved the price before we start, so the number on your invoice is exactly the one you agreed to on site.
Do nights, weekends or public holidays cost extra?
No. What you pay doesn't change with the time of day or the day of the week. We agree the number with you before we start, and that's what lands on the invoice, any day, any hour.

Who's Allowed to Do What
Can I check your plumbing licence?
Yes. Our licence is NSW Plumbing Licence #275278C, and cover stays current on every callout we take. Ask to see it on the day, or check it beforehand, either way.
What is safe to try myself before you arrive?
For a burst pipe, turn off the water at the meter and mop up what you can. If you smell gas, leave the property and call from outside, and do not flick switches or light flames on your way out.
What does the Lifetime Labour Warranty cover?
If it's not right, we come back. No questions. No cost. That's the whole warranty, no fine print, and it covers our labour on the work we've carried out.
Who can legally do gas work in NSW?
Gas fitting in NSW has to be handled by a tradesperson holding the specific gas licence for it. It isn't something a general handyman or a confident DIYer can legally take on, and we only put people on gas jobs who hold that ticket.

How Fast, How Late, How Booked
How does the callback form work?
Pop in your name, number and what's going on, and you'll hear back fast, day or night. If it sounds urgent, we'll say so and get moving straight away.
How fast can you get here?
We're on-site fast, often within the hour, depending on how far we need to travel and what's already booked in. Call and we'll give you an honest picture straight away, not a vague promise.
What counts as a plumbing emergency?
Burst pipes, no hot water, an overflowing toilet, or a gas smell all count. If water's actively damaging your home or a fault can't safely wait until business hours, treat it as urgent and call us.
Do you work weekends and public holidays?
Yes, 24/7. A real person answers, not an answering machine, whether it's a Sunday morning or a public holiday at 2am.

The Peakhurst Side of Things
What does heavy rain do to Peakhurst's plumbing?
Intense storms surcharge the drains feeding Salt Pan Creek, and low-lying stretches near the creek can back up fast. Gully traps and gutters overflow after hours more often than people expect here.
How local are you to Peakhurst, really?
It's our regular run. We know the Forest Road strip, past IGA Peakhurst and the shops nearby, well enough that we're rarely guessing at directions before we've even left.
Why do Peakhurst's older homes keep us busy?
A lot of this housing went up post-war and through the 1960s-80s, brick and fibro on clay-based soil. Original clay sewer pipes crack and shift, and older galvanised water pipes corrode and choke off flow.
Which suburbs do you service?
Peakhurst plus Mortdale, Riverwood, Penshurst, Beverly Hills and Hurstville, across the wider Georges River area. If you're nearby and not sure, just call and ask.
